Since departing the celebrated Scottish indie-pop outfit Belle and Sebastian in 2002, Isobel Campbell has built a singularly impressive body of work, one that contains several solo albums as well as critically acclaimed collaborations with former Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan and jazz musician Bill Wells. This summer Vanguard Records is extending that catalog with the August 24th release of Campbell’s haunting new album, Hawk.


STG presents SWEET DREAMS, THE MUSIC OF PATSY CLINE at The Rialto Theater in Tacoma on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 and at The Triple Door in Seattle on Saturday, September 11, 2010 with 7pm (all ages) & 9:30pm performances.

Back by popular demand, SWEET DREAMS, THE MUSIC OF PATSY CLINE returns to the Triple Door. SWEET DREAMS is a celebration of iconic singer, Patsy Cline on what would be her 78th birth year. Northwest singer/songwriters Star Anna and The Laughing Dogs, Rachel Flotard of Visqueen, Kristen Ward, Kim Virant from Lazy Susan, and Victoria Wimer-Contreras will be performing her legendary songs.  Along with local talented musicians Chris Friel, Gary Westlake, Jeff Rouse, Leif Andersen, Robert Mitchell and Kevin Suggs.

Seating is General Admission cabaret.

A truly multi-talented artist knows no creative boundaries. This is the case with Jason Derulo the Miami-bred 20 year old singer, dancer, songwriter and actor whose smash debut single "Whatcha Say" heralds the arrival of a major new talent.

Northwest musicians Duff McKagan, Mike McCready, Shawn Smith, Star Anna, Mark Pickerel, Kim Virant, Justin Davis, Tim DiJulio, Chris & Rick Friel, Rebeqa Rivers, Jeff Rouse, Ty Bailie, Kristen Ward, Gary Westlake and friends unite once again for an extraordinary evening of music to benefit the Gulf Coast.

A special appearance will be made by Edgar Hansen and Matt Bradley from the crab vessel The Northwestern. They will talk about their experience viewing the disaster and the current condition the Gulf.
