
February is a great month to get out of the house and be entertained. Performances inspired by ancient Chinese culture, witty banter between two world renowned chefs, and a bit of comedy are on the calendar for the next month so buy your ticket and make a night of it.
Shen Yun
Shen Yun is classical Chinese dance and music. The performance is colorful and vibrant and depicts the traditional Chinese culture as it used to be combined with new western influences and technology. Each year the performances are different and introduce new dancers, sounds, costumes, and backdrops. Audiences get to experience traveling through the cultures of the Himalayas to tropical regions of Asia guided by the orchestra’s original compositions and the dancers graceful performance.

Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert
If you’re a fan of Bourdain’s food and travel show No Reservations or love Top Chef then this is the show for you. Anthony Bourdain, with close pal and Top Chef judge Eric Ripert will be at the Paramount Theater bantering back and forth about all things food, travel, and some of their own life philosophies. If you have the extra cash, you can even enjoy the after show reception getting to know the two chefs and suck down a few drinks.

The Second City: Laugh Out Loud Tour
Second City comedy club and school, located in Chicago, Toronto, and LA has been responsible for the creation of comedians such as Belushi, Murray, and Tina Fey. It’s well known that Saturday Night Live has a comfortable partnership with the school and recruits many of its cast members directly from the school. Get a chance to watch some of the newest up and coming comedians as the Laugh Out Loud Tour rolls through Seattle.
