Welcome to November in Seattle. It is cold, the rain drops never fall but simply swirl in the air and the skiers and snowboarders are salivating.  If you have a spare evening this week then consider taking in one of many great music events happening around the area.

Take a trip around the world without a visit to SeaTac. Check out Africa Live: Traditional African Performance meets Classical African Music at Meany Hall at UW Campus. The show is Tuesday November 1^st at 7:30 p.m. so you still have time to get your tickets early.

Do you remember the days of Titanic movie mania? Well, the Celtic band which played on board will be serenading us in Seattle without the fear of drowning at the Neptune in Seattle on November 5 at 9:00 pm. Don’t wait around for St. Patrick’s day this year, try something a little new and check out the Gaelic Storm this week.

Looking for something a little more main stream? Head East to the Snoqualmie Casino and watch the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Revue. The show is Friday November 4 at 8pm in the casino’s ballroom. The show stars Carmen Electra and is only for audience members over twenty one years old. If you are still up for another night of music, head to the Tractor Tavern on November 5^th at 8:30 pm to enjoy the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies.
