Be the First to Comment!

Singer/songwriter MARCUS FOSTER performs for the first time ever in Seattle on 7 December 2009, at The Vera Project!

Marcus Foster is a London born musician and studies sculpture at the Royal College of Art. He grew up listening to Tom Waits, Bob Dylan and Sister Rosetta Tharp giving him a raw, honest and timeless sound. His songs are currently featured in two motion pictures; Twilight and Five Dollars a Day, and he’s about to embark on his second tour in America, along with Blue Roses. 'Let Me Sign," written by Marcus Foster and Bobby Long, is available on iTunes, along with Marcus' stellar EP of 6 songs.

English Singer/Songwriter Bobby Long returns to Seattle for one night!

Be the First to Comment!

UK Singer/Songwriter Bobby Long will be embarking on the second leg of his first major U.S. tour on 22 October in N.Y.C., followed by nearly 40 dates across America

Bobby will be returning to Seattle, Thursday, 19 November 2009, at El Corazon.

He first came to national attention for co-writing "Let Me Sign" for the film "Twilight". Although Bobby Long became known due to the movie's success, his music speaks for itself and is winning new fans all over the world.

On the first leg of the tour Bobby played 3 dozen packed dates and sold over 9,000 copies of his cd, Dirty Pond Songs, which he recorded in his bedroom. Two of the songs, "Left to Lie" and "The Bounty of Mary Jane," as well as the live version of "Being A Mockingbird," recorded at Arlene's Grocery, NYC, in April, can be found on iTunes. He recently performed a series of dates across Europe before heading home to England to begin recording at Toe Rag Studios. Read more

The Jelly Rollers

Be the First to Comment!

Sepia-toned blues and roots music that howls, rocks, rolls and swoons. These guys cry Americana more authentically than a stack of phonographic records. The Jelly Rollers take the stage at Seattle City Hall's outdoor plaza Thursday, July 30th from 12-1:30pm. Free and all ages, the show is a perfect excuse for a summer picnic, or just an escape from a mundane day in a downtown office!
