But if 80s hard rockers aren’t your thing, check out The Decemberists, performing at Moore Theater tonight, November 30th, at 8pm. Kiss 106.1 is hosting the 2008 Jingle Bell Bash, as they do annually. But this year, they’re featuring Fall Out Boy! So we know it will be good. Other performances by Boys Like Girls and The Academy Is will be sure to rock the house.
The concert will take place on December 4th at the Historic Paramount Theater, starting at 7:30. According to Kiss’s website, the tickets are sold out, however, you can still buy them online at ticketmaster.com. You can also win tickets all day on Wednesdays by listening to Kiss 106.1. If you’re caller 106 when you hear any Fall Out Boy song, you can score free tickets!
Last year’s Jingle Bell Bash was a huge success, with performances from The Jonas Brothers, Timbaland, Blake Lewis, Sean Kingston, Colbie Caillat, and Ehpikh. So we know this year will be even better! There may be less bands than last year, but at least each band plays more songs!

The 2008 Deck the Hall Ball, put on by 107.7 The End, presents some of the hottest bands in today’s music market. The Killers, Death Cab for Cutie, Cold War Kids, Shiny Toy Guns, and Aqueduct will all be on stage, with many new songs and classic hits. The concert will take place on December 9th at the WaMu Theater. Doors open at 4:30pm and the show starts at 6:00pm. All ages are welcome to attend.
The Killers will perform new songs like “Human” and “When You Were Young,” and Death Cab will be sure to play their latest hits, “Cath” and “I Will Possess Your Heart.” Last year’s Deck the Hall Ball was a huge hit with performances by Modest Mouse and Jimmy Eat World, and 2008’s show looks to be even better.
This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but tickets are going quickly, so be sure to get yours as soon as possible before they’re all gone! You can buy them online at Ticketmaster.com.
Don’t miss out on the wildest after party since Halloween! The Deck the Hall Ball After Party will take place at El Corazón, and will feature DJ sets with Jeremy Dawson (of Shiny Toy Guns)! Doors open at 10:30pm, and all ages are welcome to attend, so don’t worry about your underage friends (though there is a bar available for those with ID). Remember to bring your Deck the Hall Ball ticket stub, since you can get half-priced tickets for the After Party, regularly priced at $7.
